MyMotive App: The Motivator for Your Therapy
The MyMotive App is designed to connect seamlessly with your Motive device. After you download the free App, you will get step-by-step instructions on how to pair and set up your device. Once connected, you can immediately begin daily therapies and tailor your treatments to specific goals and needs.

Product Warnings
Motive™ Knee Warnings
- Do not use this product if you have an implanted cardiac
pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other implanted electronic devices - Do not use this device if you are younger than age 22.
- Do not use this device if you are pregnant.
- Do not place the Therapy Pads of this device over fresh surgical stitches.
- Do not use dry or damaged Therapy Pads for your therapy.
- Do not use any other Therapy Pads except for those from Motive.
- Do not use this device on freshly shaved skin.
- Do not use this device across your chest, head, or mouth.

MyMotive App Phone and Operating System Compatibility

MyMotive App is only available for iOS and Android operating systems. You can download the MyMotive App from the App Store and Google Play.
Phone requirements
For iOS (iPhones or iPads) phones or tablets, the minimum device requirements include:
- OS Level: operating system (OS) level revision 13.0 or higher
- Bluetooth: Bluetooth with revision 4.0 or higher
- Storage: At least 200MB of free storage space
For Android (e.g., Samsung and Google) phones or tablets, the minimum device requirements include:
- OS Level: operating system (OS) level revision 9.0 or higher
- Bluetooth: Bluetooth with revision 4.0 or higher
- Storage: At least 200MB of free storage space
Recommended Phone Settings
MyMotive App requires the
following settings for all App features to function properly so you can get the most out of your Motive.
iOS (iPhones):
- Bluetooth access (required)
- Camera access (required) to pair your Motive Device with your phone or tablet
- Notifications access (recommended)
- Healthkit Access (recommended) for tracking your daily steps
Android (e.g., Samsung and Google phones):

Set yourself up for success on day one by downloading and acclimating to the MyMotive App. The App pairs with your device so you can remotely control your therapy, track your progress, and set goals.

Making Motive Your Routine
You should be settled into a routine that works well for you. Figuring out the time of day you prefer to do your therapy, and how you feel afterward, will ensure you’re prepared to maintain your routine for 90 days or more. Are you feeling stronger? Is your pain decreasing?
